  • Damage caused by incorrect installation or use of incompatible parts

  • Damage resulting from improper use, inadequate maintenance, or unauthorised modifications

  • Damage caused by crashes, impacts, or abnormal external forces

The warranty is void if:

  • The product is modified or repaired by anyone not authorised by Alta Via Components

  • Unauthorised spare parts are used

  • The product serial number is removed, altered, or rendered illegible

  • The product is supplied as part of a sponsorship or promotional agreement

All accessories (including tyres, tubes, rim tape, cassettes, etc.) must be removed prior to return. Alta Via Components is not responsible for accessories left on returned products and reserves the right to charge for their removal.

All shipping costs and transport insurance to and from Alta Via Components or an authorised dealer are the responsibility of the customer.

For components subject to natural wear such as chainrings the warranty period is 6 months from the date of purchase.

What’s Covered

This warranty covers:

  • Material failures under normal use

If your product qualifies under warranty, QO will repair, replace, or refund it at our discretion.

  • Improper installation, maintenance, or use not in accordance with QO guidelines
  • Crashes, impacts, or accidents
  • Modifications or unauthorized repairs

Warranty Claims

To make a claim:

Step 1: Provide your proof of purchase and the product
Return the product to the store or distributor where you purchased it.
If that location is unavailable, submit a warranty claim form and we will tell you how to proceed.

Step 2: Basic product evaluation at the store
The store will perform a preliminary inspection.

Some issues may appear to be warranty-related but can result from improper setup or a lack of routine maintenance. For setup and care guidelines, refer to our official resources.

Step 3: Product is forwarded to our Head Quarters
In most cases, the product will be shipped for deeper inspection and repair by our Tech Service

Step 4: We evaluate and respond
We will inform the store whether your claim is approved or declined.
If you have questions about the process, the retailer can contact our team directly for updates.
